Our Jyotish Star for March is Vedic astrologer and Ayurvedic practioner, Karyn Chabot of Newport, Rhode Island. She operates the first credentialed, holistic massage therapy school inspired by Ayurvedic and Shamanic medicine in the USA. Not only is her interview refreshing and enjoyable, but she also outlines the steps that you take to become a qualified practioner. Enjoy!
Charlotte Benson (Jyoti Devi) of Phoenix, New Mexico, continues her excellent series on the nakshatras of the Moon covering the three nakshatras that the Sun will transit through this month.
We begin the eclipse season in March with a total solar eclipse in Aquarius, and with the Jupiter / Rahu conjunction in Leo in an angle (Kendra) from the Mars/Saturn conjunction in Scorpio. A very intense month in store for us all! The solar eclipse happens in the sounds SAY, SO, and THA are under particular duress in early March and we could see earthquakes, disasters and volcanos erupt in cities or | | | countries whose names begin with these sounds. (as in San Francisco or Thailand). Also the Mars/Saturn in Scorpio conjunction occurs in the sounds NA and NI (North America, New York, New Zealand etc.) for Mars, and Saturn is in the sounds NO, YA, YE.
