Jyotish Star adds two new people to our contributing interviewers. Both are Ayurvedic practioners as well as Vedic astrologers. Simon Chokoisky of Phoenix and Albuquerque, and Karyn Chabot of Rhode Island. They both contributed articles for this issue, Simon the Year of the Dwarf Planet, and Karyn Ayurvedic Migraine Headache Advice. We feel very lucky to have them on the Team. Be sure to read their impressive bios as well!
My adventure to Pennsylvania to speak at the International Jyotish Kumbha Mela at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Saylorsburg last month proved very rewarding. We met with many notables from India who we will be interviewing in the coming months, including Mr. A.B. Shukla, the Honorary President of the I.C.A.S. (Indian Council for Astrological Sciences). Look forward to his interview soon!
Big news in planetary movement, Jupiter changes to the sign of Leo this month! And also, Saturn will go direct at the end of the month on August 1st.
