April 1st to April 30th 2017 |
| by Vachaspati Christina Collins April begins with the Sun in Pisces (Revati) and the Moon exalted in Taurus (Rohini) and angular (kendra) in the 7th house for Washington D.C. Venus Rx in Pisces (Uttara Bhadrapada) will much of the month be in nearly the same degree as Saturn in kendras from each other (which can make love feel stuck, and money to stall) and for those interested in Neo Vedic and the outer planets, Uranus is sandi at 2937 moving towards residence in Aries. Mars and Mercury in Aries, Mercury in Ashwini, the star of Ketu and while there very good for intuition and astrologers as Mercury the planet of intellect resides in the star of Ketu, which connects the intellect to the other side, the unknown, or intuition. Conjoined with Mars in the Venus star of Bharani this combination in Mars sign of Aries puts the mind into looking for quickly finding love and can also lead to pitta or hot mental conditions. This lasts for the first couple of weeks of April until Mercury retrogrades on April 9th and Mars moves into Taurus on the 12th. Saturn continues in Sagittarius aspecting Jupiter in Virgo. Rahu and Ketu continue their transit I Leo and Aquarius, both respectively at 836. As the nodes are always in retrograde motion, they are ever nearing their exact degree transit over President Trumps natal lagna degree of 651 (on April 27th) this may not be a positive transit giving clarity of mind. April 6 Saturn begins retrograde motion in Sagittarius as it heads back towards Scorpio to complete his last sojourn there for another 30 years. April 9 Mercury goes Retrograde in Aries April 11 Full Moon in Virgo April 11 Mars becomes sandi at 2900 in his own sign of Aries April 12 The Sun becomes sandi in the difficult 29th degree of the Water sign Pisces, as it leaves a water sign for fire (balarishta) to enter exaltation in Aries April 12 Mars moves to Taurus, now aspecting both Rahu by 4th aspect and Saturn in close degree by 8th aspect. The Sun will still be sandi and in 6/8 aspect with the Moon. On Wednesday, the day of Mercury, who is in an enemys sign, in Papa Ketari (Sinner scissors or hemmed between malefics) yoga, and Venus, the ruler of the Moon is in 6/8 axis with the Moon. When it begins Jupiter is in the lagna will give a bit of an assist but I would not plan anything important on this day, or sign anything legal. April 13 Sun moves into exaltation. Sun, Mars and Moon will all be sandi (just changing signs) with Moon moving to debilitation in Scorpio, and as it does, Mars will be aspecting from Taurus, and Moon moving towards 8th from Sun. April 14 Jupiter leaves Chitra for Hasta at 4:18:06 EST April 15 Venus goes direct in motion in Pisces. April 26 New Moon in Aries (you can visit www.timeanddate.com to determine the time of the full moon where you live.) April 27 Rahu and Ketu aspect President Trump's ascendant degree exact. April 28 Mercury becomes sandi as it retrogrades back towards debilitation in Pisces. May 3 Mercury will turn direct at 00°10 Aries, and does not reach debilitation a 2nd time, and wont for another year. Christina Collins Biography
