February 13 to March 14

By Christina Collins for Jyotish Star February 2011

February 12th the Sun is sandi at 29 Cap, moving into Aquarius, just before midnight to be 00 on the 13th. As the Sun changes signs this year, it will be enhanced by the exalted Moon, though not in high exaltation in Krittika, yet in its own star of Rohini. Jupiter continues in Pisces, Saturn Rx in Virgo, Rahu and Ketu respectively in Sagittarius and Gemini, along with Mars still exalted in Capricorn, in its own constellation of Dhanishta along with Mercury, in its friends sign of Capricorn

February 14 may just be a tricky Valentines Day for Love and Happiness! Moon will be in the sometimes fickle sign of Gemini, conjunct Ketu in Ardra Nakshatra the constellation of Rahu. This will cause duality of thinking, as the Moon rules the mind, and Gemini is almost always of two minds. In other words, Now I Love you, Now I dont it will definitely impair communication. Couple this with the fact that Mars is changing signs transiting sandi at 29°00

February 15 Mars moves into Aquarius at 6:30 am EST

So, If you are thinking of proposing marriage this year, you might want to rethink the date. The Moon will be with Ketu in Gemini until

February 16, when Moon moves into its own sign of Cancer even this is not that stellar of a day for love as Venus will be 6th from Cancer in Sagittarius, conjunct Rahu!

February 18 Mercury becomes sandi at 29°00 Capricorn this is not the Friday to propose either the Sun will be combust Mars, the Moon will be (at least at 6:20 am EST) at 702 Magha, and the Nodes, at 7°02 Ardra and Mula.

February 19 Mercury moves into Aquarius, Venus and Saturn continue in the same degree, though they are moving apart, and the Sun will reach 6°52 Aquarius, the same degree as Rahu and Ketu.

February 20 The Moon moves in with Saturn, and as it reaches 6°43 the same degree of the nodes, both Mars and Sun are combust at the same degree of 3! Yikes some tough transits!

February 24 Venus becomes sandi at 29°00

February 25 Venus moves to Capricorn this is a better sign for Venus, who is yogkaraka planet for this sign.

February 26 the Moon moves into Mula with Rahu.

March 6 Mercury becomes sandi at 29 Capricorn

March 7 Mercury changes to 0° Pisces and debilitation. Though the initial couple of days, it will be neecha banga, cancelled by being conjunct the Moon, also in Pisces.

March 14 The Sun become sandi at 29, the Moon/Ketu in Gemini conjunction is again in play.

March 15 The Sun goes into Pisces conjunct Jupiter
