Either the former Secretary of State will become the first woman President of the United States, or a famous reality television host with a passion for bringing change will become the 45th President. We use astrology in many ways � to determine the potential of an individual with a natal chart at birth is most common, and next the Gochara the transits to a natal chart with the time periods or dasas which is predictive in nature for an individual. For events in history, we can look at birth, of individuals, of places, countries and elections. This is called Samhita (mundane). Samhita Jyotish (Mundane Astrology) Revolves around: World events � Events that influence large numbers of the populace. Natal charts of political figures Charts for the founding of cities, states and countries The cycles of the major planets as they transit (or return to natal position) a country�s Jupiter or Saturn return for example. Annual New Moon in Pisces Chart for the location of the country capital Eclipse Charts and what that chart as a transit looks like over the natal chart of an elected official, candidate or country. Astrologer�s spend extreme time researching these potential candidates, beginning from the moment they throw their hat in the ring and declare their candidacy. The most traditional dasa system is Vimshottari. Calculations are most common using 365.25 days in a year. A more ancient (before Pope Gregory and the Gregorian calendar) way is to use the 360 days in a year cycle. This will of course give a slight difference as planetary time periods begin some months earlier than with 365.25. I use 360 and have for over 20 years. Additionally different ayanamsas are in use. I use Lahiri. Many people use Fagan/Bradly (for Mundane) or B.V. Raman�s ayanamsa. (Ayanamsa is the difference in longitude between the tropical (Western) and sidereal (Jyotish and also a form of Western) zodiacs. The charts to look at are the following:
The times in use are 8:02 am, 8:02pm, and 2:18pm. Different astrologers are using different techniques for prediction, including Vimshottari dasa. We can rely on accuracy in the chart of Trump with published birth time, however the dasa will vary depending upon whether you use the traditional 360 (the degrees of a circle) or the more recent 365.25 in use since Pope Gregory instituted the Gregorian Calendar. (I personally use 360, and have for over 20 years). I also use the 2:18pm time which I have used since 2007. Using this time, I see the Democratic candidate having a slight edge keeping in mind that Hillary Rodham Clinton�s birth time has not been yet published for the public. Many astrolger�s believe that this will be a slam dunk wide win for the Democratic candidate. Only a few of us are of the opinion that this race will be very close. I personally feel it will be extremely close and filled will verbal conflict and opinions due to the powerful and malefic parivartana yoga between exalted Mars in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio (exchanging signs). This yoga can make planets act �exalted� and powerful. Powerful means strong, not necessarily �good.� So close, that Mr. Trump could actually be initally declared the victor, or the other way around. If we use the birthtime of 2:18am for Clinton then both candidates have Leo rising. When the polls close the time will give a Cancer rising chart (the 12th house of loss for both candidates) HRC has a solar return with Taurus rising � review of that chart shows her possible win. Donald Trump Donald Trump Solar Return Chart: DT has a solar return with Cancer rising � the lagna of the closing of the polls and the transiting Mercury, the ruler of his 12th house in the solar return (yet 11th house of gains from natal lagna of Leo) will be very weak and sandi at 00�34 Scorpio his 4th house of home and fixed assets. Please note, that his solar return has Mars, the yogkaraka planet (ruler of an angle and a trine) very close at 00�35 Scorpio. The status of Mars and Mercury as strong enemies makes me believe this detracts from a win for Trump. Yet his natal transits and dasas are stronger than Clintons. So this is going to be close. USA � current USA country Varshaphal (New Moon in Pisces Chart) In the USA annual solar return chart the Saturn Rx in Scorpio is 22�10 degrees. Donald Trump has Moon in Scorpio at 28�08 degrees. (this forms a restriction energy or a type of sadhe sati for his chart. (in other words, in April the new moon chart as transits over his natal chart means he is currently in Sadhe Sati (the 7 � years of Saturn as it affects the natal moon and the houses on either side. Even though this same Saturn is moving closer and closer to leaving Scorpio � he will still be in sadthe sati for 2 � more years. So we check out the binashtakavarga chart to see if the Moon can withstand the onslaught of Saturn: Moon: the sign Libra has 5 bindus (points), the sign Scorpio has 4 bindus, and the sign Saggitarius has 5 bindus. Saturn has 2 in Libra, 4 in Scorpio and 4 in Saggitarius. This tells us that the Moon is stronger than Saturn in the first 5 years of Sadhe Sati. It is a tie at 4 bindus each for Saggitarius. So, his personal Sadthe Sati is not as dire as many people, when Saturn has more bindus than the Moon. Still when it is a tie, that still holds challenge � a conflict or fight without a winner. As Saturn moves into the sign of Saggitarius the end of next January (in 3 months, so close now) can explain why he is focused on building walls and restricting �freedom� on the Mexico border. Hillary Clinton�s Sun is also in a form of Sadhe Sati called Surya Sadhe Sati. So we examine her bhinashtakavarga for the 2nd house from the Sun to see if the remainder of this current Saturn transit in Scorpio affects her Sun (the ruler of her rising sign) in an adverse way and we see it does: Virgo has 3 bindus, Libra has 4 bindus and Libra has 2 bindus in the Sun�s Bhinnashtakavarga Virgo has 5 bindus, Libra has 3 bindus and Scorpio has 4 bindus in Saturn�s bhinnashtakavarga. So you can see for each of the 7 � years of Surya Sade Sati Saturn is stronger than the Sun. Saturn is harsh and brings the life lessons of the house it transits through. This is one explanation of the intense scrutiny she is currently experiencing. George Washington � First President of the United States George Washington the 1st President had Jupiter at 18�29 Virgo the polls closing chart has Jupiter at 18�43 Virgo. He was the first President. This chart triggers Hillary Clinton�s lagna of 21�45 Leo (nearer the degree of her lagna than Mr. Trump�s whose rising sign is 6�51 Leo.) Kala Sarpa Yoga begins soon after voting closes and will be in place during voting in Hawaii and while votes are being counted (it will break free of the degrees of the nodes on the 9th of November (late in the day). Bottom Line, unless something untoward happens to Hillary Clinton, she will be the 1st Woman elected President of the United States. In the USA annual solar return Aries rising chart, Venus the symbol for �women� is exalted in the 12th house of loss and Mars the symbol for �men� is in Scorpio in own sign in the 8th house of death conjunct Saturn (who denies death using the Karaka rule, when a planet who rules over the same topic as the house it denies instead of gives. For example, Jupiter is the karaka for children and the 5th house is the house for children, so Jupiter posited in the 5th can deny children. Saturn rules death and the 8th house rules death � So Saturn in the 8th house denies death. Which looks better for Trump to win than Hillary, yet in most other chart comparisons Hillary comes out the winner. So after looking over all of these chart comparisons the stronger trend looks like, unless something untoward happens to Hillary Clinton, she will be the 1st Woman elected President of the United States.
